Hi, I’m Amy!

  • she/her

  • I started painting a few years ago and discovered that any shade of blue is my jam.

  • I’d love to have a bazillion pets, or own a farm somewhere, someday.

  • I’m a bird nerd… I’m that weird friend who stops you to listen and then names the Northern Flicker squawking 2 miles away.

  • I’m from the Midwest, but didn’t know that I had an accent or that everyone on the planet didn’t say “yeah, no”, “oh, yeah”, “Ope”, or “sneak right past ya there” until I moved to another part of the country.

  • I love adventures, but I usually keep them within a 5-state radius and leave the flying to the birds wherever possible.

  • I am pretty sure I can do anything with YouTube and a little effort (except play in the NBA… maybe)

Meet Amy.

I hope she doesn’t think I’m a total mess!

You’re tempted to bail, but instead, you take a deep breath and join the virtual therapy room.

And right away…

Hey, this isn’t as scary as I thought!

Would you believe it… 15 minutes in, and you’re spilling your guts!

Talking to Amy feels SO GOOD.
It feels like maybe, just maybe, things will finally start to make sense.

As the session ends with a massive sigh of relief, you can't help but think this FEELS RIGHT – like everything's going to be okay.

And it turns out it's more than okay.
You show up to each session ready to dive deep and tackle challenges head-on.

Finally, the pieces fall into place, and you’re building your best life.

Lack of motivation, low self-esteem, boredom, feeling insignificant, anxiety… they’re all in your rearview mirror.
Even your relationships and work-life balance are improving.

People Choose Me as Their Therapist:

  • Adult ADHDers

My therapeutic approach is neuro-affirming and personalized to work with the unique challenges and strengths of individuals living with ADHD. In therapy, I blend mindfulness practices with simple, engaging creative activities that help unwind the mind and make complex psychological concepts easier to understand and apply.

  • People who suck at art but want to create

I never tried any kind of art until I was well into my adulthood. I couldn’t believe how it helped me express what I was feeling (even if the final product isn’t perfect) I’ve grown to appreciate the process more than the outcome. This has helped scratch brain itches as well as emotional itches, all while teaching me to leave my perfectionism at the door.

  • Anxiety and Existential Dread

Existential anxiety involves worries about life, death, and existence itself. Anxiety loves to find a home (or a focus), and when anxiety is more *waves hands *, it can feel paralyzing to even start talking about it. I’ve got you.

  • Those who share the "how hard can it be?" gene

The Jane of all trades and master of none sees the hobby-iest in you. I know that it’s not that you’re undedicated or undisciplined, but dynamic in your interests.

This is a super cool quality, but without understanding this part of yourself, it can lead to shame and low self-esteem.

If you’ve said, “I can’t follow through” “I don’t ever stick with anything” or “Why can’t I make myself…” - I know it’s not that simple and I’m happy to get in there with you.
