Kristen Dingwall, LCSW Compassionate Therapist

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here.

I believe the opportunity to help others in a therapeutic setting is truly a gift. I think I learn just as much from the people around me as I hope to teach them.

One factor that predicts therapeutic success is having a solid therapeutic alliance with your therapist.

That means someone that sees you, all of you, and helps you see and believe in yourself.

I’m honored that you have chosen to share your story with me; we can start wherever you are, and I will hold space for you to share at your own pace and learn together.

Kristen is available for individuals aged 15 and up.

"In your journey, there will be “in-between time” of transition. You may feel lost, confused, angry, unseen, or empty. Don’t confuse these times of transition as a forever state of being or being broken. You are breaking away from what was, creating space for what will be.”

SERVICES

Individual Therapy
$150.00

This is for everyone, regardless of what our lived experiences may have been. It can be more circumstance or situational. We focus on solutions and managing stressors or relationships. This may be a great space to revisit things that have happened in the past or patterns in your life that you’re struggling with.

I incorporate several theories and modalities into my sessions, including formal modalities like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Psychodynamic Therapy, and less formal techniques (but still super important) like humor. My biggest priority is that you feel empowered and important.

About

Working with a therapist can be helpful at any stage of life.

I worked the first 15 years of my career as someone who leaned into the challenges of the social work field and navigated very complex systems. In that time, I have learned how to be a fierce voice for children and adolescents while empowering parents.

I have been trained in Functional Family Therapy and Trauma Systems Therapy, both helpful family therapy models to navigate some of the most challenging family dynamics.

Everyone has a story that brought them here, and I look forward to learning more about yours.

People who work with me can expect to feel empowered, embraced, and supported. Together, we will work to help you achieve your goals.
